Bob Mattesky; President

Bob started Prophet Consulting in 2013 to support a joint venture called GFT Acquisitions.  He was responsible for building out the trading platform and the asset management capabilities as well as managing the overall execution of the distressed whole loan investments.  Prior to GFT, Bob spent 5 years at Arch Bay Capital, most recently as Chief Investment Officer.  Starting in September 2008 , he was responsible for the overall execution of the residential whole loan trades and managed a team of traders and transaction managers.  Arch Bay managed in excess of $3.5 billion of loans and real estate. Before joining the hedge fund community, he spent 9 years on Wall Street where he traded Subprime Whole Loans, most recently at Barclays and Citi. Prior to that , he was the Co-Head of the Secondary Marketing Desk on Alt A/Subprime originations at Credit Suisse. Bob received a B.S. in Quantitative Finance from James Madison University, with Minors in Mathematics and Economics.
